BLAINE, Minn. – (Jan. 17, 2019) – For its 35th year, the USA CUP soccer tournament has reached a milestone.
For the first time in the history of the tournament, a team from Rhode Island and a team from Maine will visit Minnesota to compete, meaning now all 50 states have sent teams.
In the past, USA CUP has hosted teams from the other 48 states, as well as teams from 70 different countries.
In 2018, 1,150 teams competed in the tournament.
