BLAINE, Minn. – (July 7, 2016) – Getting a passport should soon be quicker and easier for local residents. The Blaine License Center will be expanding it’s passport office and adding employees to help local travelers.
A 1,357 hundred-square-foot addition will be built next to the Blaine License Center for passport applications, and it will allow for a higher capacity and faster service. The current passport center has been operating at or near capacity during the peak months of October through March, and the county expects this addition to ease the problems customers have had.
The new passport center will open to the public in September.
