BLAINE, Minn. – (Jan. 7, 2016) – With the change of the calendar also came the changing of the guard in Circle Pines and Lino Lakes.
As a result of last November’s election Circle Pines has one new council member and Lino Lakes has two new council members.
Mike Schweigert joins the Circle Pines City Council after being elected along with incumbent Matt Percy and incumbent Mayor Dave Bartholomay.
In Lino Lakes Melissa Maher and Michael Manthey joined the council this week after defeating incumbents Dave Roeser and Dale Stoesz. Mayor Jeff Reinert was reelected in November.
Also, at its first meeting in 2016, the Anoka County Board named Commissioner Rhonda Sivirajah chair of the county board for another year. Commissioner Matt Look was named vice-chair.
