(BLAINE) – Blaine Police said two men were involved in a shooting early Monday morning in the parking lot of a Walmart.
It happened just after 5:00 a.m. on October 13 outside the store on Ulysses Street Northeast.

Police believe the two men may have argued and then one shot the other and left the scene.
The victim is out of the hospital.
Blaine officers were able to arrest 29-year-old Anthony Simpson the next day after he checked himself into a hospital in Wisconsin for treatment of non-specified injuries.
He is charged with first degree assault and is currently booked into the Anoka County Jail. A check of state records show Simpson has a lengthy rap sheet with multiple felony convictions.
