FRIDLEY, Minn. – (June 4, 2015) – The Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts, located in Fridley, has announced an open call for Artist-in-Residence applications from emerging and mid-career artists, with a quickly approaching deadline of June 14. The term would last 18 months, beginning Sept. 1.
The Artist-in-Residence responsibilities include: actively creating art in the building on a regular basis, planning and helping implement the culminating exhibition in the galleries, and providing quality work for public viewing; also, being willing to conduct demonstrations, workshops, and participate in programming that can consist of tours, exhibition openings and workshops.
The Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts is an engaged and vibrant artist community that focuses on the visual and literary arts.
