BLAINE, Minn. – If you are interest in keeping parks in the county clean and beautiful, the Anoka County Parks and Recreation Department could use your help. On May 22nd at 6pm at Kordiak Park, county staff will gather with neighbors and volunteers to make some landscape improvements to the park.
This neighborhood gathering is a work project in preparation for the countywide celebration of the 50th Anniversary of this park – which was the first county park in Minnesota. This project will include planting flowers and perennials, spreading wood chips, and other park clean-up activities. If you do attend, dress appropriately for the work and bring your gloves and gardening tools.
