BLAINE, Minn. (5/5/2026) – There was blockbuster news Monday concerning the 3M Open in Blaine.
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler has committed to play in the 2026 tournament that takes place July 20-26 at TPC Twin Cities.
Scheffler – who is the defending PGA Championship and Open Championship winner – will make his debut at the 3M when he comes to the Twin Cities. Scheffler has 20 PGA Tour wins in his career, including 4 majors.
Getting the top player on the globe is a major coup for the 3M Open. Some PGA superstars skip the event because it is played the week after the British Open.
According to the Golf Channel, Scheffler has made approximately $110 million – which is third most in PGA history.
