BLAINE, Minn. (Oct. 11, 2013) – On Friday, Oct. 4, several area post offices were locked down after receiving mailed in bomb threats. Seven Twin Cities post offices including locations in Blaine, Coon Rapids and Anoka received the bomb threats—all of which turned out to be false.
Christina Anne Reineke, 43, was arraigned in U.S. District Court on charges of mailing threatening communications. Reineke was arrested on the same day as the bomb threats. She was at a community correction facility where she was undergoing supervised release at the time of the arrest.
Reineke had been previously convicted for sending threats to post offices in 2009. Additionally, Reineke had served time in prison for making terroristic threats against Minnesota lawmakers.
