(PRESS RELEASE – June 9, 2022) – Ramsey County officials have put more information and input the county has already received from those who use a busy Lino Lakes interchange with a freeway out for more feedback this summer ahead of probable reconstruction of the interchange in 2024.
County Road J from Centerville Road to Otter Lake Road, including the interchange with I-35E, is scheduled for reconstruction in 2024. Ramsey County is leading the project in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Anoka County, White Bear Township, North Oaks and Lino Lakes.
Community engagement in late 2021 to collect feedback on safety, pedestrian and bicyclist access, congestion and access to businesses and neighborhoods informed the creation of a Purpose and Need Statement and an Evaluation Criteria Report for the project.
Public review and feedback are being accepted on these draft documents through June 24, 2022.
