RAMSEY, Minn. – Two people are dead in Ramsey, following what law enforcement is calling a murder suicide. The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office visited the home of Mitchell and Caron Fine on Tuesday at the request of their daughter.
The daughter received an email from her father suggesting that he and his wife were planning on killing themselves. Police found both of them dead with gunshot wounds. The nine cats in the home were also shot and killed. Both a rifle and a handgun were found at the scene.
Authorities say that no suspects are being sought, and the general public has no safety concerns as they relate to this case.
