RAMSEY, Minn. – (Dec. 5, 2013) – A 44 year old Ramsey man, Chad Geyen, has been charged with three counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct.
The charges are in connection with alleged sexual assault involving young boys ranging from thirteen, to as young as eight. The most recent cases allegedly occurred over the last year, and cases of sexual misconduct date all the way back to the early 1990s.
According to the criminal complaint the most recent case involves multiple victims and hundreds of separate offenses. Geyen, who is married and has two children, also was a foster parent and was involved in mentoring young boys through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. He was also apart of the “Young Eagles Program” at the Anoka County Blaine Airport.
Since the initial allegations were released last week four more men have come forward with accusations of abuse and if found true, the number of victims will be brought to eight.
For each count, Geyen could face up to 30 years in prison and $40,000 in fines. Geyen has no previous criminal record in Minnesota and his bail was set at $1.5 million. Geyen has also had to forfeit his passport and pilot’s license.
