SPRING LAKE PARK, Minn. – The City of Spring Lake Park swore in a new council member this week. Larry Raymond (pictured) was selected by the council as the person to replace Dale Dahl.
Dahl recently resigned from the council when he moved out of the city. The council reviewed seven applications from candidates seeking the available seat, and chose Raymond to join them through 2014 when the seat will be up for election again. Raymond ran for a seat on the council during the recent election and finished with just 8% of the vote.
