BLAINE, Minn. – (Jan. 5, 2017) – With the holiday season behind us, you might be thinking of disposing of your Christmas tree. As a part of regular garbage service for Blaine residents, Christmas trees will be collected the first two weeks of January on your regular collection days.
Remember to remove all ornaments, lights and garland, and have your tree on the curb.
Circle Pines offers the same option on the first two Fridays after New Years.
Residents of apartments and housing parks should check with your management office about your collection schedule.
Other options include the Bunker Hills compost site, which is accepting Christmas trees on the two weekends after New Years Day for a small fee. More information on the Bunker Hills compost site, including hours and fees, can be found here.
