BLAINE, Minn. – (April 20, 2016) – Registration is now open for residents and non-residents of Blaine for the summer 2016 Safety Camp. The Blaine Police Department, SBM Fire Department, and Blaine Parks and Recreation Department sponsor this program that teaches kids how to be safe in their daily lives through fun activities.
This is the 20th annual Safety Camp and focuses on such topics as fire safety, water safety, internet safety, first aid, personal safety, electrical safety, animal safety, brain injury prevention, and more. The camp is open to incoming 4th grade children, ages nine and 10. Act fast as this event fills up quickly. Safety Camp will take place July 12-13. More information on Safety Camp can be found here.
