ST. PAUL, Minn. – Congresswoman Michele Bachmann was in St. Paul this week, trying to drum up support for adding a lane to both I-94 and Highway 10.
Holding a press conference at the State Capitol, she highlighted safety issues on Highway 10 and bottlenecking issues on I-94. She referred to them as important transportation projects that will save lives, decrease commute times, and create jobs for Minnesotans.
Sherburne County recently passed a resolution supporting the plan, and several members of the Anoka County Board were on hand to show their support as well. The cost of both projects could top $400 million, but right now, MnDOT does not have either of these projects in their plans.
