ANOKA, Minn. – (Nov. 29, 2018 ) – Some Anoka County residents may qualify for a free car seat in December. Safe Kids Anoka County will conduct its next car seat clinic at Coon Rapids Police Department on Dec.11 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Residents who make an appointment, attend the clinic and have certain income eligibility or public assistance can receive a free car seat at the clinic. Professionally-trained car seat technicians and public safety officials will be at the clinic to answer questions and help participants learn the proper ways to install and maintain car seats.
