ANOKA, Minn. – (Aug. 27, 2015) – A Linwood man has been charged with multiple counts of possession of child pornography and criminal sexual conduct. Brian Jeffery Cleveland, 54, worked as an elementary school custodian in the Forest Lake School District, and he has been charged with repeatedly sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl. During the investigation about the assault, investigators found several pornographic images featuring children on his school-issued computer.
They also found several other images that had been deleted around the time that Cleveland was first contacted by authorities. Cleveland has denied possessing any child pornography. He faces five counts of possession of a pornographic work involving minors and two counts of criminal sexual conduct in the first degree. If convicted on all charges, he could be sentenced to 85 years in prison.
