ANOKA – (May 5, 2022) – School meal prices are set to go up for Anoka-Hennepin students. For two years, meals have been provided at no cost through a federal program. That program ends when school finishes this spring. So as students start paying for lunches again, they will see prices a little higher than before.
Anoka-Hennepin is citing increases in the cost of food, supplies and labor for a five cent proposed increase. Lunch at elementary schools will be$ 2.55, and $2.70 at high schools. The new rates are expected to get final approval this week.
