ANOKA, Minn. – Law enforcement agencies joined dozens of other organizations across the state in Anoka County’s second annual polar plunge.
With more than 600 plungers, they were able to raise well over $100,000 to help support the Special Olympics. The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office had 40 plungers, and raised over $9000.
This was the sixteenth year that the Polar Bear Plunge has raised money to support the Special Olympics in Minnesota.
