COON RAPIDS, Minn. – A 17-year-old teen experienced an unexpected turn of events when he went to purchase an iPhone 5 from a friend. The incident occurred at Lions Coon Creek Park in Coon Rapids, where he planned to make the exchange; however, upon arriving at the park, he found that two adults were also in the car with his friend.
Along with the teen’s unnamed friend, 21-one-year-old Reality Porsha Edmondson and 19-year-old Kenneth Alex Williams Jr. ordered him to get into the vehicle and then punched him, threatening him with a gun in the process.
The three stole the teen’s wallet, but he managed to escape, sustaining visible bruises and abrasions. The teen was able to identify all three of his attackers through Facebook. Edmondson was recently arraigned in court and a warrant is out for Williams. Arrest efforts for the third attacker remain unsuccessful.
