BLAINE, Minn. – (April 20, 2017) – This week was Severe Weather Awareness Week in Minnesota, a week set aside to remind people of severe weather threats and ways to stay safe.
Statewide tornado drills were a part of the week, as well as reminders about flooding, hail, and extreme heat.
Families were also reminded to practice their emergency plan and build a emergency preparedness kit.
