BLAINE, Minn. (7/19/2024) – The Target USA Cup has been a sports staple in the North Metro since 1985.
In mid-July Blaine becomes the center of the soccer universe.
In the inaugural year a total of 69 teams played in the event. Since then the Cup has grown by leaps and bounds and is now the largest youth soccer tournament in North America.
The 2024 Cup is being played this week at the National Sports Center as 1200 teams and approximately 1600 athletes from around the globe flock to the Twin Cities.
We went to the Cup and produced a video that is chockfull of sights and sounds.
