(SPRING LAKE PARK) – The Hy-Vee grocery store on Highway 65 will open later this year, according to Spring Lake Park officials.
City Administrator Dan Buchholdz said the company has repeatedly changed its interior design for the store, which from the outside looks completed. The company announced earlier in the week that all of its in-store restaurants will become Wahlburgers restaurants moving forward.
Buchholdz said once the company submits plans for city approval, interior construction should take about six months.
So, he believes the Hy-Vee won’t be open until the fall.
The Hy-Vee-owned convenience store and gas station on the front corner of the property is already open.
