SPRING LAKE PARK, Minn. – (Feb. 11, 2016) – This week, the Spring Lake Park School Board scheduled a special election to vote on a bond referendum vote for April 26.
The board approved asking the voters for $49.925 million to achieve three goals. First, the district would address space concerns by building a new preK-4 elementary school and adding classrooms at the high school. Second, they would expand their early childhood programs by building preschool classrooms. And, third they would expand and enhance their science, technology, engineering and math programming, as well as their career and technical education.
In April, the district will be doing several community presentations to highlight their needs and address questions.
