SPRING LAKE PARK, Minn. – (Jan. 7, 2016) – Recent action by the Spring Lake Park school board will save the average homeowner about $60 per year. The school district was able to refinance their building bonds at a lower interest rate, saving homeowners money on the school district line on their property taxes.
This is the third time in the past five years that the district was able to get a lower taxes through refinancing. The district also lowered their property tax levy by half a percent compared to last year.
