BLAINE, Minn – (Dec. 8, 2016) – As we get more and more into winter, many people get their snowmobiles ready to hit the trails. But, to legally ride a snowmobile in Minnesota, residents born in 1977 or later need a valid snowmobile safety certificate.
You can get your certificate by taking a classroom course or by taking an online class along with field test. If you already have your certificate, you are reminded to reduce your speed according to riding conditions, and never consume alcohol when snowmobiling.
