BLAINE – There is a local Facebook group called Adopt a 2020 Senior Midwest that is trying to make this time a little brighter for graduating seniors. Parents can post pictures of their graduating students and share a little bit about what makes them special.
Other members of the group can volunteer to adopt that senior. That can mean sending cards, snacks, flowers, or finding other ways to encourage the senior.
So far, more than 200 seniors, mostly from Minnesota have been adopted by strangers.
