SPRING LAKE PARK, Minn. – Spring Lake Park has decided to fill the open city council seat through an appointment process. Councilmember Dale Dahl recently resigned because he had moved out of the city limits; the council is accepting applications from those who would like to fill his seat.
The term begins March 4 and runs through 2014. The council meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday on the month at 7pm, and council members are paid about $5700 per year.
Applications are due by Monday, January 28, and the council plans to conduct interviews in mid-February.
