BLAINE, Minn. – (June 17, 2016) – In an effort to ensure that no child goes hungry this summer the USDA’s summer food service program ensures that low-income children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session.
This summer, USDA plans to serve more than 200 million free meals to children 18 years and under at sites all across the country. There are several local sites including area schools and parks. Hours and meals vary by location.
