BLAINE, Minn. – (March 2, 2017) – With the vote this weeik in the Minnesota Senate Sunday liquor sales are one step closer to being legal in Minnesota. There are slight differences between the bills passed by the House and Senate, so either the House will need to accept the Senate bill or a conference committee will be needed to iron out the differences.
Then the final bill would need the signature of Governor Dayton. Dayton has said that if the bill reaches his desk he will sign it.
North metro legislators were split on the topic, but in the end most supported the measure. Below is a look at how area legislators voted on the bills.
