The colorful water tower is a city landmark and the town’s annual celebration is known as Tower Days.
“Tower Days is June 4th through the 6th this year,” said Anne Scanlon, the Parks and Recreation Director for Spring Lake. “We have new dates – we’re running Thursday, Friday and Saturday this year so it’s a little bit more condensed and not as spread out over the weekend.”
Tower Days has great tradition and is one of the city’s yearly highlights.
Said Scanlon: ” This is our signature event.”
“Great new bands”
Scanlon believes the 2026 edition of Tower Days will be a treat.
“This year’s gonna be wonderful,” Scanlon said. “We’ve got some great new bands. We have Good for Gary on Saturday night. We have Transit Authority, which is a Chicago tribute band on Friday night. We have two local bands. We have Side 2 on Friday, Last Pick’d on Saturday. We also have the AWF pro wrestling on Friday evening and new this year for the families, we have Ninja anywhere for free all day Saturday from 12 to 6 along with the craft and vendor fair and a variety of other fun things.”
The main location for Tower Days is going to be at scenic Lakeside Lions Park where plenty of activities will take place.
“I’m very excited to see the changes,” Scanlon said. “I’m very excited to see the new events we’re bringing in. The car show will still be at the district office right next to city hall. We’ll have the shuttle service from here to the park. We’ll have some great food vendors. Wonderful music. Super excited for the bands this year.”
Tower days will also include a beer garden, and eating options from Hy-Vee and food trucks.
