BLAINE, Minn. – If you are looking to have some summer fun in the sun, look no further. One of the first city festivals in the area is nearly here. The Spring Lake Tower Days Community Celebration kicks off the last week of school starting on June 6 and lasting until the 9.
There will be a parade on Thursday and it will end with an all day Celebration in the Park at Lakeside Lions Park on Sunday.
But in the days in between you can attend three lumberjack shows; and even try your hand at log rolling or cross cut sawing, or you can take part in a softball tournament, kickball tournament, seniors 500 tournament and a street dance. And if you think it couldn’t get any better there is a car show, craft show, pie eating contest, frozen custard social, water wars, face painting, balloon sculpting, live musical entertainment, fun events, and more for all ages to enjoy.
You can learn more about all of these events on www.towerdays.com.
