(ST. PAUL) – As we get ready for the winter weather, the Minnesota Department of Public Safety recommends that you have to keep a few emergency items in your car. They recommend some things you might have already thought of, like jumper cables, basic tools, blankets, and a shovel.
They also recommend having a pencil, whistle, snacks, red bandana, and a flashlight. They say to store the flashlight in your car, but with the batteries backwards, so you don’t accidentally drain the batteries before you need them.
