LINO LAKES, Minn. (Nov. 29, 2018) – Anoka County leaders announced winter hours for the county’s two public compost sites.
Starting Dec. 1, the sites at 13285 Hanson Boulevard NW in Coon Rapids and 77011 Main Street in Lino Lakes (near Wargo Nature Center) will only be open on Saturdays from 9:00 a. m. to 1:00 p.m.
The winter hours will last until the end of March. County residents are eligible to drop off yard waste, tree waste, and organics at the sites for a small fee. The information on the materials accepted and the fees can be found on the Anoka County website.
