In Centerville, Main Street is a busy road that runs between the lakes and right through the middle of town. With homes, trails, and parks lining the road, the area sees a lot of traffic. One homeowner on that road is asking the traffic to slow down, for the sake of her mailbox.

Peer leaders are part of special events on first day of school to help newest students feel welcome.

Several big-box stores have closed across the North Metro in recent years… and some of them have new life thanks to smaller businesses, such as the Fun Lab in Blaine. 

There are county and regional parks that offer trails, canoeing, fishing, swimming, and camping. The parks are spread across the county, and range in size up 5,500 acres. Tasked with keeping these parks safe and welcoming are the Anoka County Park Rangers.
