Minnesota typically sees about 25,000 drunk driving arrests in a year, and about 100 deaths due to impaired driving. The Lino Lakes Public Safety Department is trying to reduce drunk driving incidents in the city.
POLICE CONCERNED ABOUT PEDESTRIAN SAFETY
On April 24 a pedestrian was hit and killed at the intersection of 85th Avenue and University Avenue. That intersection has police concerned as it is a high foot traffic area mixed with a high speed roadway.
