This year, Anoka County Parks and Recreation is celebrating 50 years of providing residents with “open spaces in nearby places.”

Neighborhoods across the state gathered together for the 5th annual Night to Unite, an evening aimed at strengthening neighborhood and community partnerships and increasing crime prevention awareness.

A Ham Lake man will be splitting the $448 million prize with two people in New Jersey, taking home a lump sum payment of about $86 million.

A major road in the area will soon be closing for construction. Main Street in Lino Lakes will close on August 8, and will remain closed for about two weeks.
