Circle Pines turns 75 in 2025. The city has plenty to offer and recently recognized a church that’s been a fixture in the town for seven decades.

Anoka County is part of a nationwide food waste prevention program that starts on Monday. In the United States over 700 counties, cities, schools and nonprofits are spotlighting this topic. Approximately 38 percent of food produced in the US is not eaten.

The Johnsville Library in Blaine is closing on March 2nd for a major makeover. The renovation tab is $500,000 and the upgrades will improve Johnsville in many ways.

Spring is on the horizon which means eventually melting will take place in the land of frozen lakes. Be safe if you’re going on the ice, because as one North Metro police officer found out, vehicles can go into a lake even in sub-zero cold.
