Centerville city leaders are entertaining a proposal from a company that is only identified as a major online retailer that wants to build a distribution warehouse on the city’s eastern edge.

The students competed in the NCAA’s “Read to the Final Four” against three other schools to see which eight- and nine-year-olds could read the most minutes.

The reserves are unpaid volunteers who answer lower level calls which frees up licensed deputies to focus on more important duties.

In 2021, the county decided to transform Coon Lake Park into Coon Lake Regional Park. Part of that process is a master planning phase the county is in right now to make sure it is meeting all of the needs of those who want to use the amenities at the lake.

Businesses are facing higher taxes after Minnesota state lawmakers failed to reach a deal on replenishing the Unemployment Insurance fund.  After lay-offs during the pandemic, the fund is $2.7 billion in the red.
