Facing rising costs related to public safety and employees, the Anoka County Board Tuesday approved a preliminary property tax levy increase of 4.94 percent.

Anoka County is now one of only 14 counties in Minnesota to have the “Storm Ready” designation from the National Weather Service.
EARLY VOTING IS NOW OPEN
Absentee voting, or early voting, is now open. All registered voters can vote in person at the county elections office, and every city hall in Anoka County.
MNDOT BEGINS STUDY ON HIGHWAY 65
MnDOT has begun a study of the Highway 65 corridor. Anoka County and Blaine have each committed $100,000 to the study.
