The Blaine Police Department said goodbye to one of their own this week. In a tragic loss, a Blaine police officer and his wife were killed in a motorcycle crash. Those who knew them best gathered to remember Steve and Susie Nanney.

Blaine Focuses on Traffic Concerns
Blaine’s newest effort to address traffic problems in underway. Starting in June, the police department added two full time traffic enforcement officers. Along with these officers, a citizen Traffic Commission began meeting in April to advise the city council on their long-term traffic and road plans.

This week Blaine Police officers gathered at Caribou Coffee for the first Coffee with a Cop – a casual setting for cops to interact with the public.
