The City of Blaine is working with a contractor to finish the tree removal project at the Blaine Wetland Sanctuary.
MOBILE MENDERS FIX THOUSANDS OF PIECES OF CLOTHING EACH YEAR
A group of volunteers travels around the metro every week, bringing a special service to anyone who needs it. Mobile Menders began in June of 2017, and has grown to a group of about one hundred people who are willing to hem pants, repair zippers, replace buttons and more. A room full of menders gathered on a Tuesday morning in Johnsville Library. All with a love of sewing.
