New Drug and Veterans Court
Over the past four years, Anoka County has offered special court proceeding for veterans dealing with legal issues. And now, thanks to new grants from the department of justice, they will be expanding their veterans court and opening a new drug court that both look to solve legal issues without jail time.
Anoka County to Showcase Legal Process
The Anoka County Courthouse in downtown Anoka will open its doors to the public as part of a Law Day event. The event is designed to showcase the work of Minnesota’s justice system, and educate students and the public about the role of judges, attorneys, law enforcement, and citizens in administering the justice system.
