FIRE DEATHS REDUCED BY ALMOST HALF IN 2018

36 people died last year in fires in Minnesota, a 47 percent drop from 2017 when 68 people died, according to preliminary numbers from the Department of Public Safety.

CAUSE OF FIRE AT BLAINE AIRPORT STILL UNKNOWN

Monday night smoke poured into the air at the Anoka County Blaine Airport. A hangar caught on fire and was fully involved when SBM crews arrived on site.
