CHARITY HOCKEY GAME MAKES BIG DONATION

The Lino Lakes Public Safety Department organized a charity hockey game pitting local firefighters against local police officers and this week, the teams took the ice at the Schwan’s Super Rink as a large crowd cheered them on.

A Lino Lakes prison inmate has been charged with escaping from custody and four counts of kidnapping.  In May, James Douglas Mitchell hijacked a van that held him and eight other inmates.
