The 2018 Blaine Festival will take place at Aquatore Park in Blaine on June 22nd, 23rd and 24th. Organizers of the long running summer festival believe they have created an event with something for everyone to enjoy.
FORMER BAR MANAGER HEADS TO PRISON
The former manager of the Don Julio restaurant in Lino Lakes is heading to prison, after being convicted of criminal sexual conduct for an attack that took place at the restaurant this winter.

In a last minute change Blaine council member Jason King decided not to run for reelection.
105TH CONSTRUCTION NEARING COMPLETION
Next week will be a big week for the project as traffic will be split with one lane of traffic moving on each side of the new road. This will be the first time since before the project the traffic will flow on both sides of the road.
MAIN STREET TO BE RESURFACED
Between Opal Street in Blaine and 4th Avenue in Lino Lakes, crew will be working on surface improvements and pavement overlays.
USA CUP SEEKS VOLUNTEERS
USA Cup is looking for volunteers for a variety of positions including: activity supervisors, airport greeters, award ceremonies, field managers, opening ceremony, language translators and transportation.
