Rules
These rules apply equally to DIY and Staff Transfer Clients.
We can only transfer home movies or other material for which you own the copyright. We cannot copy Hollywood movies or TV shows bought from the store or recorded from TV.
You may not transfer (or have us transfer) obscene or pornographic material.
Original film, tapes, and DVDs will be held by NMTV until all fees are paid in full.
NMTV is not responsible for any damage that may come to tapes or films during normal playback, such as (but not limited to) tapes or films snapping or melting. Please note, film breaks are especially common in 8mm, Super 8mm, and 16mm films.
NMTV will not attempt to transfer or allow you to transfer any film which because of its physical condition may damage our equipment.
For Staff Transfer Clients, we will work with you to determine an approximate length for the material you are submitting when you drop off your originals. The final amount due may increase or decrease depending on the actual length of the film. For billing purposes, we will always round up to the next hour.
If, for whatever reason, NMTV is not able to transfer a portion of your home movies, the originals will be promptly returned and fees will be adjusted accordingly.
Appointments are required for DIY clients. Appointments may be cancelled if a client is more than 15 minutes late.
