ST. PAUL, Minn. – Sen. Roger Chamberlain, R-Lino Lakes, and Reps. Matt Dean, R-Dellwood, and Linda Runbeck, R-Circle Pines, have invited local daycare providers to attend a forum they are co-hosting to discuss a bill (HF 950) that would unionize private, in-home child care businesses.
Daycare providers will hear details of the proposed legislation and have an opportunity to express their comments and concerns. Specifically, the legislators are interested in how this bill would impact daycare businesses and how it would affect the families who use their services.
