Film Your History at North Metro TV
Family stories are some of the most important stories we have. What did Grandpa John do for a living? What country did Grandma Pat come from? Whatever happened to Great Aunt Barb? Too often, these kinds of stories can get lost from generation to generation. North Metro TV is here to help. As part of our ongoing, community services, local seniors can visit the NMTV studios in Blaine and record their precious family stories on video. Eric and the staff at North Metro TV will do all the work and even provide you with a special DVD of your story that you can share with your kids and grandkids. Best of all, it’s free for residents of Blaine, Centerville, Circle Pines, Ham Lake, Lexington, Lino Lakes, and Spring Lake Park. All you need are your stories and yourself. You can write down what you want to say, bring a family member to interview you, or just speak from the heart. 20 minute sessions are available from 3pm to 7pm on the first Thursday of every month.
