Lino Lakes Public Safety has hired seven people to serve as part-time paid duty crew firefighters to help bring down response times during weekday hours.

Centerville city leaders are entertaining a proposal from a company that is only identified as a major online retailer that wants to build a distribution warehouse on the city’s eastern edge.

The students competed in the NCAA’s “Read to the Final Four” against three other schools to see which eight- and nine-year-olds could read the most minutes.

PROPERTY VALUES SPIKE ON TAX ASSESSMENT NOTICES

Even if you haven’t done much to improve your home recently, chances are it is worth more – a lot more.  Valuation notices for taxes payable in 2023 went out at the end of March.  In Anoka County the median increase for homeowners was 21 percent. 

TRAFFIC SNARLS PREDICTED WITH HIGHWAY 10 RECONSTRUCTION

As highway construction projects go, this is a big one, with a big head-ache potential. Highway 10 sees more than 60,000 vehicles a day, and now it’s down to one lane in each direction as the two year project to remove stop lights and improve traffic flow and safety gets underway.

CENTENNIAL SCHOOLS’ SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM NAMED ONE OF THE BEST IN THE NATION BY USDA

Centennial Schools was able to feed not only all of the students enrolled in summer Kids Camp day camps, but also all athletes who were practicing. It was also able to put out breakfast and lunch meal packages for any students who needed them.
